Pinkalicious Birthday Party!

This was a special birthday party for a very special little girl.  The book Pinkalicious by Victoria Kann was the inspiration for the party theme.  Pinkalicious is a little girl who eats too many pink cupcakes and turns pink herself.  The only cure is to eat healthy green food.

I made the pink tulle tableskirt to add a big hit of color to the dessert table.  And here is the gorgeous cake made by Melinda at BakeLove Bakery (she's my sister too!)

Cream Soda dressed up for the party!

The dessert table was accented with candy jars, lace and doilies, just like the book.

We set up a photo  area with a pink wrapping paper backdrop and some fun props like giant cupcakes a a pink wig!

The little girls ate lunch - pink and green of course! - from cupcake tins.

For our party craft the girls made cupcake ornaments - easy, sparkly and fun!

Pink wig from the photo props!

I think every party should have a great soundtrack.  Pink City by the Ditty Bops was the absolutely perfect song of the day!

  1. I love your party, you did an amazing job! I just wanted to correct your credit for the free printables... it should state by seven thirty three via Living Locurto as I actually designed them and she just featured them. The printables are actually available via my site here: http://www.733blog.com/2011/05/olivias-2nd-pinkalicious-birthday-party.html

    Thanks!
